Melon VPN Terms of Service

This is an agreement between you and Melon VPN regarding the provision of virtual private network communication services, related features, and functionalities. Melon VPN is an anonymous and privacy-focused service, not intended for criminal activities.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Melon VPN, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Legal Compliance

You agree not to violate any laws of the jurisdiction you are accessing or originating our services from. It is your responsibility to ensure your use of Melon VPN complies with applicable laws.

3. Account Security

• Melon VPN supports login exclusively through Apple Login (Sign in with Apple).
• You are responsible for protecting your Apple ID and password from unauthorized use. Any actions taken using your login credentials are your responsibility.
• Login is not required to use most Melon VPN features. However, logging in allows access to additional benefits, such as using membership services on up to two iOS devices simultaneously.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use our system for the following activities:

• Sending spam, port scanning, or scanning for open proxies/relays
• Sending unsolicited or bulk emails of any kind
• Launching pop-ups from our service
• Attacking other computers or networks
• Hacking, cracking, spreading viruses, fraud, phishing, or any other illegal activity

5. Service Availability and Performance

We strive to ensure the availability of our service outside of limited maintenance and repair windows. However, Melon VPN is not responsible for data, messages, or pages lost, undelivered, delayed, or misdirected due to service interruptions beyond our control.

6. Privacy and Logging Policy

• Melon VPN does not log user activities (e.g., websites visited, DNS lookups, emails sent, etc.).
• We only log server access attempts for security and troubleshooting purposes.
• We comply with GDPR and other applicable privacy laws. Your subscription data is solely used to verify permissions and is not shared with third parties.
• We will not cooperate with information requests unless ordered by a court with proper jurisdiction.

7. Fair Use Policy

Although Melon VPN does not impose bandwidth or data usage limits, usage must adhere to our Fair Use Policy. Activities such as creating automated VPN sessions, imposing excessive load on the network, or continuously consuming excessive bandwidth are considered unfair use. Melon VPN reserves the right to warn, suspend, or terminate users violating this policy.

8. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or temporarily/permanently discontinue our service without prior notice.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is," without any express or implied warranties.

10. Limitation of Liability

Melon VPN is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without considering its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be announced by posting the updated Terms of Service on this page.
